Frequently asked questions
Is insurance mandatory?▼
No. Insurance is optional and selected at checkout. Even without insurance, the deposit escrow and photo documentation system provide baseline protection for both parties.
Is there any insurance coverage available right now?▼
Dedicated insurance plans are currently in development. Current protection comes from the deposit escrow, photo documentation system, and platform arbitration. A formal insurance product is expected to launch soon — register above to be notified.
Who pays for the insurance?▼
Tool rental insurance is selected and paid by the borrower at booking. Tasks insurance is selected and paid by the task poster when creating the task, included in the escrow total.
